You Can Travel to Bhutan On your Own

Until 2022, you couldn’t travel independently within Bhutan. Therefore you were required to submit a proposed itinerary for approval to Bhutan Government and you have to accompany by a Bhutanese tour guide throughout your time in the Country you should have a driver assigned to you.

But as of September 2022, however, you can travel to Bhutan on your own without a tour guide and driver in Bhutan which is a big change in the tourism industry of Bhutan.
